The month of June alone saw arrivals exceed projections by a whopping 34%, giving hope that its tourism industry will bounce back quicker than expected. A newly elected government in St. Lucia led by Prime Minister Philip Joseph Pierre is ready for the challenge. St. Lucia boasts the most diversified manufacturing sector of the Eastern Caribbean and its new government is keen to build upon this advantage to attract new investment while it continues to prioritize the recovery of its tourism industry
